i have ova 470 hours of music which is enugh music to listnen to for 19 days straight with out hearing a single song twice

What bit rate are your files? I have a 20GB iPod with 111.3MB left & I only have 2457 tracks on it, which is 9.4 days playing.

i think you guys all beat me, I only have 1.4 days of music atm, though I just got my iPod two days ago, I haven't even finished ripping my CDs to AAC yet.
