This:

The fact that Chris Martin's biggest fan seems to be himself has turned off a lot of people, too ... as per what bdb posted.

I was just apologising for laughing at it as I know you like Coldplay, but it was funny and just a wee bit true.

That's OK. I don't particularily like big headed people and I know Chris Martin as of recent has become one.

Nice to know you care!

You have Kraftwerk in there Ala Talk and a lot of U2 in there plus the same generic Coldplay sound . There are a few good songs but it just doesnt measure up to the last album.
I couldn't agree more. If Coldplay wants to stomp with the big dogs they got alot more barking to do, lol. Seriously though, have a little respect for your elders. Or at least acknowledge the fact that you’re not going to top the very band that you emulate, let alone the one who’s been going for 30 years strong, as opposed to your five years (I’m talking to YOU Chris Martin).

Here's the million dollar question: Is "A sudden rush of blood.." Coldplay's "Joshua Tree"? I'm sure it's too soon to tell but I believe they'd have to do something out of this world to top that one.
