Topic: i plug in ipod, and nothing happens!

whenever i open up ephpod and i plug in my ipod to my computer, absolutely nothing happens. for some reason the ephpod program isnt reading my ipod at all! help please

The same thing was happening to me, and I couldnt figure it out until i found one thread. Try this plug ur ipod into the firewire cable and the oter end into the adapter that plugs your ipod into the wall socket(a.k.a. the electrical outlet) then turn on the hold on ur ipod then off then on then off and then hold both the middle button (the select button and the menu button at the same time and hold them for a while until u see the apple icon on the screen. Then just wait till the icon is gone and voila plug it into ur computer and it should work again. If this doesnt work u just have u settings messed up.
