Unhappy new user woes. problems with ephod

I bought a 3G 15gb ipod a year ago and have been using Music Match to manage my playlists. Seeing the usefullness of ephod, I converted about two months ago. However it is only recently that I have dixcovered a problem: I have been trying to compile a new playlist containing all my favourite songs which are already on the othe playlists on my ipod but haven't been able to do so as ephod come up with a blank list every time i try to add new songs. The only solution is by slightly changing the name of the original mp3 so that i can add it. I can only assume that ephod doesn't recognise duplicate songs on the ipod. Is tis a bug???
