strange error message

after pluggin in my ipod, starting ephpod and telling it which drive is my ipod, it gives me this message:

Click the image to open in full size.

then it looks as if its reading my ipod and as soon as its complete, ephpod closes.

i know my firewire card works cause i can access my ipod through windows explorer and play mp3s from it etc.
i can also write to it fine.
i have also updated my ipod, so its not a problem with the cable or the card.

and im not using any drive reading software.
my ipod is windows formatted 2gen and im using win xp.

so what does this error message mean?

ok i fixed the problem.

there wasnt enough room on the ipod.

i deleted a few mp3s manually and then it loaded up fine.
