I hope I named this thread right and hopefully it's in the right section.
I'm looking for software that let's me take audio from a site, save it, and install it on my iPhone, iPad, etc. There is a band that I follow religiously. I've purchased all their albums, etc. They do have vids on utube and Vimeo. Most are live versions of the songs I already have which is why I want this software. Anybody got any suggestions? It would be nice if the program is very user-friendly as I am new to this. P.S. I did a search and came up with one called WireTap. Also, this is for my MAC running OS X 10.6.8 TIA |

I use Audacity for this kind of thing on Windows 7; maybe available for Mac OS.

I'm not going to directly link you to anything as it is technically illegal to download YouTube content without the express, written permission of the copyright holder (record company and band) of the media you are downloading. However, there are plenty of free plug-ins for Safari and Google Chrome that will allow you to download such content relatively easy. I suggest you look through some Safari/Chrome add-ins/extensions.
