I recently bought a Mac and I'm transferring my music over and merging several libraries into one. We're talking a few hundred gig's of music video etc. using iTunes to find duplicates is overwhelming. I need an app to do this for me. Have tried a few but haven't found one the seems to be reliable. I don't wanna loose music but, need something to manage to clean things up. From experience what seems to work the best for this?

I'd recommend taking a look at Dupin, which is a $15 AppleScript based utility for Mac users that works quite well and has the advantage of being regularly updated and supported to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of iTunes. A free trial version is also available. There's also a "lite" version available from the Mac App Store for $8.
