What software allows me to enable disk mode on my iPod? I remember using it with my old ipod but I unistalled all my software and reinstalled with my new ipod and I cant find the application.

Before iTunes, a program called iPod Manager was required, but no more. Plug in your iPod. Open iTunes. Select your iPod. In the bottom right corner, click on the small iPod. (iPod Options). Enable Disc Mode. |

Yep... iTunes for Windows came out in late Oct. 2003.

Just a little point of clarification - I say this because--well, I find it funny that Apple did this.
I reality, no software is required to enable disk mode. Windows will recognize the iPod as a drive all by itself. However, Apple decided that they didn't want this, so they prevent windows from mapping a drive for the iPod unless you have the "Enable Disk Mode" checked. Yeah, it's a minor point, but it's always bugged me that Apple did this... Adam
