Utility that will play the least played songs in my itunes library first

I have over 6,000 songs in itunes. I listen in shuffle mode 90% of the time.

I have an Imac and an ipod nano, and I noticed that some songs have never been played while other songs are played alot.

Is there an add on or utility that will make itunes play the least played, or better yet songs with the longest time span between plays, first? Will it also do this for my ipod, because my Nano seems to be even worse about playing some songs alot more than others than my imac is.

No need for an add-on utility, just create a smart playlist. Some examples:

1- The simplest way would be to use the single criteria:
- Playcount is 0
With:
- Live Updating enabled
- Limit to X items, MB, or GB (you choose how much to include, but this is optional)

2- If you want to allow songs that have been played once or twice, but not in a long time:
Match ALL Criteria:
- Playcount is less than 3 plays
- Last Played is not in the last 180 Days (or however long you want)
- Rating is greater than 2 stars (optional)
With:
- Live Updating enabled
- Limit to X items, MB, or GB (optional)

Playlists like this can by sync'd to your Nano and then you can play songs from within this playlist in shuffle mode. That will ensure that it plays only unplayed (or seldomly played) songs.
