iTunes Alternative for vista x64 w/ 32gb touch

I recently purchased a new tablet pc with vista x64... with 4gb of ram
specs:
http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/pro...B220UA%2523ABA

i installed iTunes and my 6500 songs and noticed how terrible the scrolling experience is... always a delay and never real time...

I googled the issue and many people are having the same issue and just pointing the fingure at sucky iTunes

i deleted all my smart playlist...
disabled look for shared libraries...
disabled.. sound enhancer and crossfade options...

nothing seems to help...

i am not noticing the issue on my older desktop with 1GB of RAM running XP

There are so many recommendations on the net for iTunes replacements... some for older ipods and some that dont handle pictures/videos... etc... or not 64 bit compatible

i just need one that is fast .. handles smart playlist ... and tagging of music..genre/ratings.. would help if i could import the ratings that i have for the songs from iTunes

no pictures or videos support is necessary ... and i am using the ipod touch

Please help out guys with recommendations !!!

Thanks in advance

ok try this,
1 right click on your open desktop
2 select properties
3 go to settings tab
4 click on the advance button (which will bring up a new window)
5 go to the monitor tab, what is your screen refresh rate set at ? change it to 60 herts
6 go to the troubleshooting tab is there a check in the "Enable write combing" if there is turn it off, if there isn't turn it on then reboot and test itunes.

look thru your video card settings and see if there is anything that talks about write combing and see if you can turn it off.

try the drivers from this link once http://downloads.guru3d.com/ATI-Cata...load-2285.html
Make sure you do a system backup first with system restore it has saved me more then once when troubleshooting. Any time I have had problems like you described Video drivers have always been the problem. I am running windows vista 64 bit my self, and have to play with video drivers at times to get things working right. Here is website that helped me alot with 64 bit issues
