After getting no support from Red Chair, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau demanding a refund for both Anaopd and Audigen that I purchased.
Within a couple weeks I finally got a refund, but the #### from Red Chair sent it by PayPal so *I* get charged a fee for accepting a payment. I'm glad to be done with them and will use iTunes until something better comes along. Red Chair Software SUCKS!!!! |

I GOT MY MONEY REFUNDED FROM REDCHAIR!!!!!
How did I do it? I submitted a complaint at the Better Business Bureau's website. I explained how RedChair had ignored, not only my emails, but also the email from PayPal (who was not much help, I'm sorry to say.) Within a business day of submitting the BBB complaint, PayPal informed me that RedChair had refunded my purchase price and they were crediting it to my account. Go then and do likewise! |

Well, I think you guys have found your solution. If you're not happy with the product, go through the BBB. Hopefully, this will also send Red Chair a message and help them to beef up their support and product quality.
Cheers.

Hopefully......but something tells me that RedChair just doesn't care as long as people keep buying their software.

They did used to be really good, back when Red was at Uni and running the show. Of course back then it was only for Creative players but you used to get email responses in hours and bug fixes in days.
Alas as with many student projects as it expanded and the people who started it got other interests/jobs the personal touch disappeared, I'm not even sure if Red is involved anymore. I've used there software for my Zen, Karma and iPods and it was such a blessing having an easy to use, powerful, single interface for all my mp3 players. However I don't think they've actually released any real updates for any of there products in many many months now which suggests to me that the developers aren't involved anymore and it's just someone running the website to make cash.

and one more thing -- it's unconscionable that ilounge continues to promote this crap company in the featured software section.

I've been a paying customer of theirs for a few years now and I have never once gotten a single reply to any email I've sent them. Now I'm stuck with this crappy 9.0.3 version that won't generate more than 1 playlist per Anapod connection session on my Vista Business PC. 9.0.2 worked great.
Oh well - I can wait until 9.0.4 but I now use Sharepod for the most part. |

Yea, RedChair is really variable. I complained here a few years ago. I got a response. But now I need a new activation ID (new IPod) and it's been 4 days and nothing. I do like the software but the guy needs to learn about customer service.
My recommendation is to go elsewhere. Jim |

As much I dislike the company, they have an excellent product. I really hope they update Anapod for the IPod Classic.
There is the only reason why I haven't upgraded to the Classic yet because Anapod hasn't been updated. |
