Napster question??

Alright I have a Mac, I know Napster is PC only - so I have access to a PC the $9.95/month or the $14.95/month to-go service right - With either for that set price a month can I download unlimited albums as they mention and burn a CD of each album? If so it's worth it cause then I could rip the tracks off the CD-R to iTunes on my Mac and put them on my iPod or do whatever I please with - or do you pay that $10/month and only get to listen to the tracks but if you want to actually burn them to a CD do you have to pay for the actual album? Im confused and their FAQ doesn't clearly answer it - so if anyone knows please get back to me before I start paying 10 bucks a month to listen to songs that I can't do anything with other then sit on a ####ty PC and listen to haha...THANKS!

You cannot burn them without buying a permanent license.

You can, however, use a great piece of software called Tunebite, to encode the waveform off of your soundcard. I use this with Yahoo to have access to subscription tracks and use my iPod. The caveat is that Tunebite does not work with all soundcards/chips so what you will want to do is try the demo of Tunebite while you are also trying the free period with Napster.

Also, you should probably consider going with Yahoo Music!, $60 if you sign up for a full year at once and less restrictions than Napster. I did have Napster for a while but jumped ship to Yahoo and am glad I did.
