2 words:
INTERNAL SPEAKERS. If they can use hidden speakers on phones, etc. they CERTAINLY can add it as a feature on iPod. The volume could be adjusted on the click wheel of course. I don't think they ever will, considering Apple sells special speaker systems for iPod. But the thought would be very nice! |

Doubt this would happen, the sound quality would be terrible with such small speakers.

Dont think they would be good. First, they would have bad sound. Second they would add extra weight to the iPod. Third they would drain too much battery life.

It's a great idea. My Nokia 7610 has a single mono speaker and it sounds great, it also goes quite loud.

the speaker on my orange spv c500 is pretty good, and its got about a 1 inch diameter as well. It gets a bit tinny at top volume but it's gr8 at anything else, would be a good feature I reckon.

Waste of time, not many people would use it, sound wouldn't be very good, and it is suppose to be a personal MP3 player..

I don't think i would ever be in a situation when i would want a speaker anyway. I would much rather use headphones.

I don't think that will ever happen. Just buy the speakers.
