parents, grandparents & ipods!

hey everybody!

so recently both my sister and i bought ourselves new ipods... and my father, who has been interested for quite a while, was so inspired that he bought a shuffle for he and my mother to "share." (that in itself is funny to me)

well, my mother, who isn't overly interested in computers, has only been using her new ipod for a few days now and has completely caught the bug. she is really excited about the sound quality, and is surprised by how great the ipod experience is in general. i went to a movie with her last night and she kept whispering to me "there is an ipodder! see, they are wearing the earbuds.."

so lets hear YOUR stories... anyone else have any cool ipod parent/grandparent stories??

im tryna get my mum into it, but she wants the micro zen coz of the radio.... even tho its more expensive than the mini i wanted to get it....

mothers are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO difficult.

I sent my dad tot he shop to get mine, and he told me he was using a unit they had there, and was tempted to buy one himself, my Mom likes music but cant operate the DVD p-layer, least of all a PC with iTunes....

wen i get my job i might get my step dad a 1 gig shuffle cuz he drives a bread truck all day and has to stock like a crap load of stores with wonder bread ^_^

dont think my mum knows what one is! my dad either...he'd have a fit!

My grandma got a 512MB shuffle after listening to my iPod and amazed at the sound quality. She was like "It's like a BOSE!!" in which case she is referring to the Bose Wave radio thing.

She can load songs onto it and use it and all, while being legally blind (Not completely, though). :P

my dad got a 4gb mini the same time as me. he has like 8gigs of music though.... i keep on telling him to get a 20gig.
