Cool bluetooth ipod remote control

I recently bought a sony ericsson t610 phone which has bluetooth. Was thinking it would be really cool if you could get a device that plugs into the ipod so that you could use your phone to control the ipod remotely, even better if the phone could emulate the ipod's user interface.

Anyone know if this would even be possible?

Blue tooth headphones... awesome idea. I can't wait.

Sony Ericson phones are THE worst phones on the face of the planet. They have WAY too many features which bog down the usage of normal features such as NETWORK RECEPTION. Sometimes the phone's cache gets so bogged down, it shwos "no network" until you turn off and turn ont he phone again.

you will. my problems didn't start until the unit was a bit used. It's like a computer. When you first get it, no issues.. laods up quick etc. After a while it starts getting bogged down. You'll see. Of course i hope I am mistaken.

I was going to post a similar topic, but not about a BT remote, but a BT IPOD. that way you could wear BT headphones, synch songs up from your computer via BT, everything. that would be bad arse. the problem they'd have to address then is battery life since BT would most definitely make it worse than it currently is. i wish they'd just have a removeable, replaceable battery!!!

i also have a t610 and use BT non-stop. back when i had a t68i i never took advantage of the feature. it's a great phone.

DBconfession.... sorry you seem to have had bad luck w/ SE products. i've had two over the last few years and they give me no problems compared to the motorola products that i always seem to go back to. for menu speed, i will agree the t68 and t68i were slower than average (especially with MMS and SMS), but the t610's menus are fast and do not hesitate. i can write/send a SMS just as fast as i can type. the reception on both of my previous SE phones has been on par with motorola t720i, nokia 3390, nokia 3650. my old motorola v60 blew them all out of the water, but we wont talk about that phone. which SE phone did you or do you have that's so problematic?
