is it possible to "steal" money from paypal?

this is not related to ipod at all, but i know that a lot of people got their ipods or sell their ipods on ebay by using paypal for money transfers. so here is my concern.

everytime you add your bank account to paypal, it will send 0.xx and 0.xx dollars, then you use those two numbers to activate your bank account.

a couple days ago, i cancelled my account on paypal and add it on again ( since the name is my mom's name instead of mine, i feel very unconvenient, and it is unchangeable.) when i add my bank account, paypal sent me 0.xx and 0.xx again.

if so, can i make money out of this? though it is like a quarter for each time.

in theory i supose youre right.. you could steal money from paypal... however... whenever you use paypal to make a transaction, it takes a percentace of the amount transfered. Paypal makes alot of money this way, so even if you were to figure out a way to screw them outta a few dollars, they'd just make the money back whenever you used their service to make a transfer.

Indeed, to steal real money you need to reopen account thousand times. It can look suspicious from paypal system, so you will be stopped. I think people use another strategy to steal money from paypal.

May I suggest http://www.moneybookers.com instead? It's what I use, because they have escrow services for a smaller fee.

One place you don't want to get sentenced is Texas I would guess. I heard they execute jaywalkers.
