I'm lucky that I attend a very lax school...I've seen people with blue hair, shoeless, and carrying a laptop before. My school doesn't care...the assistant principal had orange hair for a while.

For some reason, I've never seen anyone with an iPod before...I might have to fix that.

I don't bring mine to school very much, but one of the teachers has an original 10gb iPod that he always has wit him. Whenever we have him, he'll hook it up to speakers and blast it, or offer to hook up one of our iPods. I actually had a 30 minute argment with this teacher about whether his iPod was 1G or 2G. If it has a actual moving scroll wheel and its 10gb, its 1G right? I've always thought of 1G as mechanical wheel, 2G as touch wheel but he claims I'm wrong...

I would have then gone to the principal and explained that this being a 300$ + piece of electronics equipment i do not want it to go into the hands of a stranger who may or may not use it w/o my knowledge and may damage it by using it improperly. Then apologize to the teacher and the principal for coming off as rude, and offer for the principal to hold it in a safe place. Where it will not be damaged and you can pick it up at the end of the day.

Thats the way to get it done.

exactly what i would have done
