Angry Problems with ifixandrepair

Here is a timeline of my dealings with this company so far. Definitely not recommended.
Never, ever under any circumstances take your equiptment to an ifixandrepair place for service. Took my itouch in on May 19th to get the screen replaced, dog chomped it. $85 dollars and told an hour. 5 hours later was told defective parts and had to get new ones when home office reopened Monday. Told on the 22nd that they actually fried it on Saturday and would replace and as an act of good customer service give me a partial refund on the repair. Received full refund on the 23rd, though it took a week and a call to complain to get the funds back.
Told on the 29th would be in on 31st. Not there but showed me where they ordered a used one off ebay. Told it was in town on June 1st and out for delivery. Have not heard anything from them except a rude voicemail from the manager and condescending emails saying sorry you are not happy with the service.
Sure that the story is not over.

So the latest excuse. Post Office says the mall is undeliverable and after keeping it for several days returned it. But they swear they are doing everything in their power to fix the situation.

Still without ipod. Have now been passed to the inventory manager who says the post office has now lost the replacement unit and they ordered another used one which will be shipped. They also fired the tech who did the initial work and hanging problem on him even though the story is that the parts they had were defective, therefore not the techs fault. So far refusing to give any details on the real story, the ipod seller, why it is being sold or why they fired a tech but the manager who lied about it for three days is still there.

Saw on my invoice a website for a customer survey. Went to it, which is actually run by them not a third party, and it is down for unscheduled maintenance. We are working hard to resolve the issue, sorry for the inconvenience. Must be the standard company response as that's what they keep telling me.

So just a little update on my ongoing battle with ifixandrepair(ibreakandlie). Finally got one to the store(used) and inspected by their crack tech who stated it was working perfectly. Took it home and hooked it up. Ended up restoring it to factory defaults twice just to get it to sync with itunes. Finally got it set, went to update and no wifi. Most of the time it just searches and doesn't find. When it does find available networks most of the time it won't connect to it and if it does won't stay on if you try to go online. In the meantime, get an email from the BBB about my complaint. Response from company is that since they refunded my money and replaced the unit with one in better shape than the original they consider me appeased and case closed. How they know what shape mine was in since they totallt destroyed it remains a mystery.
Back to the store, manager tries it can't connect either. Says he will have to see what corporate says but is pretty sure their answer will be that they cannot do anything further. Waitin now to see what great idea they come up with next, especially with the 90 day guarantee they give.

While reading the post slowly, and going slowly through the post, the story seemed quite awful and I was feeling quite bad thinking about it, but after reading the final post, you reminded me of Shakespeare, He was very right, when he said that "All is well, that ends well"!

You got another ipod and that is what actually is the good thing about the whole story. but your story mentioned on the web is going to haunt the company for quite long!
