If PayPal goes through your credit card, you might be able to refuse the charges on it. For example, I ordered a product through eBay many, many years ago. It came in and was not in the condition it was listed in. I complained and the seller said they would refund my money if I sent the product back. I did but they never funded my PayPal account. I opened a dispute with PayPal but they didn't do anything so I refused the charges on my credit card. That finally got PayPal's attention. They threatened to close my account and send my bill to a collection agency. A few arguments with a manager and I was able to get my charges dropped since it was a mess up on their end for not providing me with the buyer's "insurance" they constantly advertise.

MORE MBLUE b******T!!!!!!

Update from august thread. Was told and recieved email that mblue had finally decided what was wrong with my phone.(needed new backlight) was told the phone would be sent within 2 days, now 5 days and no phone. Phoned them today(again) and was told that it would be another 3-5 days before the phone would be ready.original quote has gone from 41 to over 70. Every time i phone they give me some excuse or other why the phone is not ready.infuriating!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will i ever see my phone again??? Who knows? Least of all mblue it seems.why is it so hard to get a simple repair done and the phone returned?will post next thread if and when my phone is returned!!
In the meantime be warned....................do not use this company!!!!!

Terrible customer service and broken promises . replace the back and front bezel. returned the repair without cleaning the unit, did not put it back together properly, vibrate was not working on return...Sent it back to be done again. Have had it for weeks and keep saying the engineers are working on it don't care. DO NOT USE....

MBlue - do not use this company

I have been through a miserable process with MBlue. I have had to return my iPod three times and each time they have simply sent it back without fixing it. They have charged me a lot of money and I don't have a working iPod! On the phone they are no help at all.

MBlueLtd.co.uk

More problems with MBlueLtd.co.uk.! Sent an iPod for repair of dock only but after having to chase they sent it back unrepaired and with a note saying it needed additional parts! No phone call beforehand and no refund for not fixing! thanks for taking 40 off me ! Worst company experience in 30 years.Anyone asking for a good company to repair electronics will be told not to use them .

Thumbs down Problems with MBlue (also known as iphonerepairs.co.uk AND Neutronics)

This company are operating under 3 names that I know of.

I sent my phone to the company who took the payment of 59.99.
They took about 2 weeks (NOT 3-5 days) then said they required a further
40.00 as the midframe was bent.

I asked that they send the phone back without repair. THEY HAVE SAID THEY WOULD RETURN ONLY 25.00 ! The phone is in a worse state than
before.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I intend to take this further . Daylight robbery !!!!!!!

Just had a similar experience sending 2 ipod touches for new screen and water damage check on Jan 4th.
Tracked them on arrival and all seemed well. After a week or so called to find update and was promised 'personal service' and call back on the same day. this happened 3 times.
When i did get a call it was to say the Home button was needed to be changed too. Naively I paid over the phone by card and waited another week. A second call from them asked for more money to fix a battery and screen issue that was never mentioned in any of the earlier conversations. Even an email said they were sending them by the end of the week and they never came..
Finally arrived today with several issues unresolved after 4 weeks. Best avoided.

MBlue cowboys

Sadly I have only just found this site, having just been ripped off for a repair to the screen of my son's i-pod touch. MBlue took twice as long as promised to send the i-pod back in worse repair than before. It went with a glitch and came back completely unresponsive - albeit with a new screen! Someone I spoke to at MBlue (Alex) claimed it was basically my fault for not understanding why I'd sent it and refused to take any blame. Of course they weren't going to refund me and (now) I need to buy a new i-pod!
It seems they have a devious track record for this kind of behaviour and I would heartily recommend that anyone reading this stays well away from them. If anyone on the site has had any success getting anything back off them or indeed has any joy contacting trading standards, please let me know!

Angry AVOID this company

Oh, why didn't I google this company before I used them?
They have taken 9 weeks and many phone calls to return my phone to me.
BUT they have returned a different phone (different IMEI, different pattern of cracked screen) and of course it does NOT work.
What a complete and utter rip off.
I am sure they have fixed my real phone and have sold it.
This company are con merchants - do not use them.

I too wish I'd seen this forum before having anything to do with M Blue.

I sent 2 iPhones 3GS phones in for repair. It took 5 weeks and eventually I received a phone back which no longer charged and a 3G phone instead of the 3GS phone I sent in.

I took the 3GS phone into a local shop (Chichester) who repaired the charge connector while I waited and pointed out that it had been damaged by M-Blue. This explained why the WIFI range was now very limited.

The second phone is no use to me anymore since my son can't use it for the apps he wants to download.

M Blue charged me 125 for the privilege of this (50 to look at 2 phones and 75 to repair them). What a joke.

I tried to claim through PAYPAL but they found in favour of M Blue!!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM M-BLUE
STAY AWAY FROM M-BLUE
STAY AWAY FROM M-BLUE
STAY AWAY FROM M-BLUE
STAY AWAY FROM M-BLUE

bad company

Sent my HTC for repair to Mblue, thought i was getting the next day service as advertised !.
Waited 4 days nothing so phoned and chased.
Answear = you did not select the next days service and it will be another 10 !
We will have it ready in 2-3 days time !.
Looked at reviews and they get slated everywhere, phoned again and said i would come and pick it up as they are quite close to me in an unmarked factory in Shoeburyness !!.
picked it up exactly as i sent it no work had been done at all ! and here is the important bit ( only a refund of 20 out of 45 )

this company is a total rip off DONT GO THERE>
