wouldnt you expect this to be the next thing to put on an ipod it could be called the ipod fold.

No, I would not expect this to be the next thing added to an iPod. In fact, we are still at least 6 years away from having a working prototype that can function as a portable device. Might as well ask for holographic disc support, hologram video functionality, etc.

Currently we can flex and bend OLED screens, but we won't be folding them, and even if we could right now, would you like to purchase a $40,000 iPod? When OLED first came out for consumers, it was like $3000 for an 11 inch screen, and now you want to fold it.
To be honest, by the time these are available, I doubt they will be iPods in the fashion we think of them now. |

If we can't get a folding screen, how about a retactable one like a window shade? (Just kidding, obviously.) It would be cool though... They could even put one on the shuffle. Or maybe on the headphone cord.
