5th gen as a Hard drive

Since the ipod touch is only 8-32g capacity it would be nice to be able to connect the 5th or the classic to the itouch and use it as a hard drive where the itouch is Wi Fi it only makes sence to be able to do that. Any thoughts.

Maybe if you used proper grammar I'd be able to understand and help. This kind of writing makes it hard to and annoys some users.

I understood what he wanted, use his classic as a hard drive for his touch, although I don't know what he meant at the end there, didn't relate to anything.

Sorry, I mean the itouch is wireless internet connection so why can't I use my classic as a portable hard drive for my itouch.

Those don't relate at all.
It's not like your using your iPod touch as a wireless adapter to your desktop (lol that sounds really bad) so again they really don't relate.

Be pretty silly to use a classic just to boost the memory in a touch.

Because you can't stream music from one to the other. The Classic isn't wireless, and even if it was, there's no way that Apple would allow streaming from it to another iPod.

What you can do is get SimplifyMedia and stream music to your Touch from your desktop machine's iTunes library. But that hammers your battery badly.

So the answer to your question is "no," you can't do that.
