I'm new here, so I suppose I'd better introduce myself
I've had my 30 gb ipod for a little less then 2 years now and love it loads Im not really into the idea of a purely digital music collection as I still love all my treasured vinyl and (to a lesser extent) CDs. Still, being able to carry a substantial amount of my music around with me every day feels good !!!! I 'll stop rambling now - cheers

I just joined, so I thought I'd say hi here.
Anyway, I'm Tantopat, and I decided to join here after my new 80GB iPod Classic finally arrived today (I previously had an old 4GB Nano, which has since been adopted by my little sister). I still adore CDs, but I've totally fallen in love with this iPod ever since I set it up this morning! ^-^ It's taken all my self-restraint to avoid spending the whole day playing with the music quiz...

Hi, I'm new. My name is Richelle and I absolutely adore everything Apple, especially my 8GB iPod touch which I got recently. I used to have 1st generation nano, and this is a really nice change. Look forward to posting with you all!

Hullo, finally gave into the iPod pressure a few months ago, I went from being a detractor to a fanatic. Love that so much free information is available, love that I can buy tracks instead of albums, etc. etc. I live in San Francisco with my roommate and a cat, work in nutrition, interests are health, pop culture, politics, and juicy gossip. Looks like a great forum, hope to talk to y'all soon!

Hey guys. I guess I should introduce myself. I've been saddled with a PC for the last couple years, so bear with me. I just got a macbook and an Ipod touch about a month ago for college, and I love them both-- but like I said being a native PC user
i'll be needing some help

Hello folks. I've lurked around on here for years and decided I would finally register in order to post once in a while.
In case it matters... I currently have a shuffle and an 80 GB classic and am using a Mac Powerbook G4 with my 11,101 songs and 54 GB of music stored on an external hard drive. |

Die hard apple fan since the mid 90's and love my iPod. Apple has changed the world! Great to be around folks that share the passion for the ultimate device. I've found I don't need much more than my iPod to save me from terminal boredom!

Howwdy there, I'm new here, just got an ipod classic after years of holding my 1st gen Mini close to the breast. Anyhow, I'm still learning how to use the thing, so I'll be mingling. Thanks!

Hello. My name is Nick. And while I have visited iLounge on numerous occasions, this is actually my first time with the forum, and I just want to introduce myself to the millions -- and millions -- of iLoungers out there!
I currently own a 160 GB iPod Classic with over 670 songs, 6 movies, and 1 TV show. And just yesterday, I became the proud new owner of a 16GB iPhone 3G (in Black), and I never, ever leave home without it, especially since I can watch my favorite movies in widescreen! ![]() Sometime last year, I was originally set on buying an iPod Touch, but after playing with the original iPhone for a while, I decided that I wanted an iPhone a lot more than the Touch, simply because of the built-in speakers, the camera, and physical volume buttons on the side of the phone. I kinda hate that I've missed getting the original iPhone on the first go-round, but now the iPhone 3G has more than made up for it and then some! But anyways, I just wanted to say hello to everyone here on iLounge! |

Hi. My name is Matt and here is some stuff about me...
I bought a Mac SE with a 20MB HD in April 1988. I loaded all the contents of my 800k floppies on the Mac and thought, wow, I'll never fill up 20 MEGABYTES! I was wrong about that. In 2002, I bought a 2G iPod with 20GB capacity. I'm still amazed that it even existed. At the time, there were no other digital audio players that even came close. In Dec. 2005, I bought a 5G iPod with 60GB capacity. It's been awesome, and truthfully, still is flawless. I was hoping for a new iPod that would be so cool that I would desperately want one. Now I'm wondering if I should buy the 1st gen 160GB Classic before they all disappear.
