Unhappy Christmas iPods support group!

For a while i have been surfing this forum and have realised the number of people who have or have ordered their iPods but are not allowed at them until christmas...
I'm also in this postion, ordered it today..

Someone suggested a support group! Here it is!
Just introduce yourself to the group and get it off your chest.

Ditto

Plus my parents are paying for half so I probably won't be able to use it until the 25th. My dad is a traditionalist/big kid, which basically means even though all members of my family are now adults we still have to wait until Christmas morning before we can open presents. I remember when I got my PSone the Christmas after launch I was up a 7am playing it. I get the feeling I'm going to be a kid all over again installing my firewire card and syncing with iTunes at about 6.30am!

I am also in this position...BUT!! I installed my firewire card yesterday which is good ;]

My Dad purchased ordered the 10gig iPod and USB cable off apple.com a while ago...but what's even more bugging me is they sent me a 30gig instead of a 10. So I'm even more excited...To pass the time I've just been ripping my CDs and experimenting with iPod software..tricking the software into thinking one of my spare hard drives is the pod...so I've been able to see how things works...Helps alot.

Only 26 days left people...I've also decided on 25th I'm going to make my own iPod commercial with me dancing

Mistake I figure. We still paid the same amount for a 10gig.

doubtful....apple wouldn't make a $500 mistake in the place for a $300 purchase.

Yeah, this is the same for me.
my Family was in boston for thanksgiving. And on "black sunday" We went christmas shopping. (Crowds wern't to bad) And we were at the apple store.
And who do i see checking out but my mother with a ten gig, third gen in her arms.

But then the dark thought dawned apon me. Its the 29th. Of NOVEMBER!
A month to go...
