I know he isnt the inviter but is he the cheif of ipod divison at apple or is he the chief of apple kinda what bill gates is to mircosoft?

While Steve Jobs did not "invent" the iPod, he had considerable influence in the design and development of the iPod. Unheard of influence for a modern day CEO. In addition, he had to approve the project in the first place. Jobs can, by all rights, claim credit for the iPod as much as anyone can.

Since Disney is now buying Pixar, Jobs other company, he will also be the largest shareholder of Disney and be on their board of Directors too.
