The 2005/2006 Football Thread

The Football season will be starting in less than a month, so, um... boss madpict, is it ok to start this thread again? i'm perfectly fine with moving it to the board games section too

Put this thread anywhere, just don't get rid of it!!!

Haha..anyways, there's already been tons of friendlies, more notably Chelsea vs. AC Milan, and the TIM Cup in Italy, which is a tournament between Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus, where each team plays against each other once in a 45 minute game...needless to say Inter won again for the second season in a row, so I guess they'll have another crappy season

Vieira's gone, but he was getting old anyways. Haven't seen any other teams play yet, no TV coverage in this part of the world. But a lot of intruiging transfer rumours and such.

BTW, where's iMacc?? Haven't seen him in a while? is he ok?

the thread will stay alive number five

glad to see liverpool being competent with their performances so far, albeit against lesser teams!! hopefully we'll end up getting a central defender soon, as i think that's one place we are short. not sure about luis figo joining - he's asking way too much money for salary...!?

Does anyone else think it's funny that when Dan goes to Italy, AC Milan come to N. America.

Is it just me are has Arsenal been a little quite on the transfer front.
Glad Stevie G stayed at the Pool.
Still wondering where Eissen will end up.

What's up with Rio, has he signed yet. I hope he leaves Man U. Without him their D is in a world of hurt.

Ah, It's good to be back.

Yep, i'm actually scared of Liverpool right now. They might be contending for the prem title this year

WHERE'S IMACC? Hey Kris, aren't you worried that a fellow mayooer is missing?

I actually heard they were going after Andriy Shevchenko but I cannot see that happening.

Chelsea is starting to scare me actually....if all their players play well, I can't see any team (including Juve) stopping them...at least not on paper

I'm anxious for Champions Leauge to start again, but thats only because the Serie A only gets interesting in the last week or so
