i think black would be sexy on an ipod if implemented correctly... and the back could be black chrome. i still love the futuristic ipod white, and doubt apple wants to stray from their white/silver scheme that they haave with all their products, but its still cool looking. the link below is a photoshop i whipped up really quickly with my idea for a clear, backlit scroll wheel. would you buy this?

Black COULD Be Cool, but not like the U2 one. They would need to give it a slick look and have the back be brushed metallic black. "Black", Is Too Vague. If they made it like you photoshoped it, it would suck.

I wouldn't mind having the buttons for the click wheel have a light, like the 3G buttons. Backlight clickwheel, I wouldn't want it so much.
