No real problems, but the 2.1 update made charging a little strange, and that is what is was suppose to fix...

I think most of my problems are related to trying to use a HFS+ formatted iPod on a Windows machine, right when WiTunes just came out... Asking for trouble.

I am hoping to get my 20G 2nd gen fixed again and trade it in for a 3rd gen 40G...maybe I will have more luck with the next generation.

Unhappy

I'm waiting for my 3rd 3gen 20Gb one to arrive now.

The first one had screen problems out of the box and the second one had the HDD die after 4 days.

I had a few major problems with my iPod before. It would freeze randomly. Or reset itself. Or shutdown in the middle of the song when battery power is over half full. But that was before I upgraded the firmware from 2.0.1 to 2.1. Now everything is cool. Haven't had any problem yet.

Ok, Check this out this is Realy funny i think ,
Ok i was searching e-bay because i am poor so i thought that i might be able to find a ipod (10 gig) with a dead battery or somthing minor that could be fixable,

well in my search i found one that said it was broken , so of course i had to see what the symptom's were so i read it and well the problem was that the ipod would transfer a few song's then stop , so along story short , the person thought it was super broken so i bid on it /won and when i recived it it was in PERfect condition , except some minor scratche's on the back but that's normal , but what is funny about this is that i got my firewire card the next day (mind you the ipod was working perfect) so i loaded itunes and all and NO PRoblem's with it at all it's Perfect i just thought it was Super funny because there was nothing wrong with it and it was a Steal to

155.00 for a 10 gig 2nd Gen with everything (can't Beat that)
