Huge problem!!

I'm a perfectionist and after I download songs out of limewire and import them (copies them to the itunes music folder) I tag them with like everything. artist, song name, track number, year, disc number, all of that for all my songs. but then after i connect my ipod or play songs in itunes my songs tags change and sometimes changes at random. the composer of the song changes. if i have track 4 out of 14 the 14 goes away and under comments theres like random numbers like this: 00000F3E 00000AC6 000096F0 000066D0 0003031F 0000E978 00009596 0000994F 000232C1 0002E0A1 I dunno why!! (It happens to bought cd imported music too!)

yere i sometimes have that too. I just delete the random numbers n its fine.

yeah but i have like track # 1 out of 3 and when that thing the random numbers appear it gets rid of the 3 so its just 1. and i want the second number! also its very annoying when it happens to like 100 or so songs.

Suggestion: burn and import them into iTunes.

yeahh that doesn;t work. after importing the tracks are all track 1, track 2.. hence no names on them. and it happens to imported cd music too.
