This morning I discovered the "Group Compilations when browsing" preference in iTunes. Wow. Exactly what I wanted.
However, when I plug in my iPod, the iPod doesn't group the compilations the same way; it lists every single artist, even if i've only got one song. Is there a way for the ipod to group compilations the way iTunes does? Thanks! |

Your best bet would be to set up a smart playlist and tell it how you want it to be. Very easy to set up and you control it. Set it in iTunes and drag it to the iPod.
