How to reinstalling iTunes?

My HD crashed and I had reinstall iTunes (XP). Is there a way to retrieve my music, ratings, and play count from my iPod? I don't want to re rip everything and lose all settings. Also how do I get all my purchased (and free weekly downloads) music from the iTunes store?

Hopefully you had everything on your ipod cos you wont be able to redownload the tracks from the music store:

use one of these methods http://www.ipodlounge.com/forums/sho...&threadid=4719 to get the songs from the ipod back to your HD

are you sure that all itunes remnants were erased? perhaps the itunes library is still on your HD
