can eq setting change with genre?

i am wondering if i can get the eq settings to change automatically based on the genre setting of the album... this seems easy enough so i am sure it is possible.
thanks!

Nope, I'm afraid not. At least not automatically.

You can, however, select multiple tracks in iTunes and manually assign an equalizer pre-set to all selected tracks. Just highlight the multiple tracks and select "Get Info" from the File menu (or right-click and select "Get Info" from the pop-up context menu). You'll see an option there to set an equalizer preset which will be assigned to all of the selected tracks.

If you wanted to assign one to an entire genre, you would simply filter by that genre by selecting it from from the browse list (click the "Browse" button in the top-right corner when viewing your library to display the browse list), and you could then select all tracks from that particular genre.
