Uploading MP3 CDs

Hi when I put an audio CD in my CDR drive- it opens up on Itunes and I can transfer to my IPOD - but when I put a homemade CDR with MP3 files, nothing happens. How can I upload these MP3 files to my Itunes as AAC files??? Thanks Jay

If itunes will not recognize the mp3 CD, then you will probably need to use some other software to transfer the songs to the computer. Download one of the free apps and do the transfer.

does your computer recognize the CD? If so, you can just drag the files off the CD to your hard drive, and manually add them to iTunes (File>Add To Library)
