Resize Song Name Column?

I can't seem to resize the "song name" column in iTunes. I've uninstalled/reinstalled . . upgraded to the latest version. Doesn't change the behaviour. Everything else resizes fine, but it's hard to determine what songs are on the iPod if I can't see the names.

Anyone encounter this problem? Or a fix?

Do you get the + on the line when you try to resize it? Keep trying to make sure your not doing something wrong. If the other columns can be resized then it seems that the song column can also.

I've tried it every which way. No dice. That's what's so weird.

I can't even DRAG it to another spot like you can with other columns.
