Usually, when I play a song in itunes, after clicking the play button, it turns into the pause button. Occassionally, though, a stop button appears in place of the expected pause button. just curious... when does the stop button appear?

Lets say you're in you music library and you start playing a song. Well if you go anywhere else, like the music store, it will turn into the stop button. If you want to pause it, just go back to your library..

i never really understood why itunes was setup this way. it's just an annoyance to me to have to find the song im listening to so i can pause it, rather than stop it. the shortcut to find the currently playing song is either the little return arrow to the right of the Now Playing display at the top of iTunes, or the hotkey combination.... it's ctrl+something... i forget exactly
