Question A Mac, A Windows machine, lots of music and something else....

Ok some stupid easy questions that im sure some one will be able to tell me how to do it.

I just recived my latest copy of Macworld (UK Edition) and they had about 100 of the greatest add-ons for iTunes. Now they had a piece of software on there that would sync your iTunes music libary from two macs, so that you both had the same music on each.
Ok great, apart from I have a Windows machine and a Mac, and I want to sync them together, is there a easy way of doing it over a network?

Also I have a few duplicates of music on my iTunes library is there a way that I can get a plug in to go through the list and spot the duplicates and delete them? I had a Hard Drive failure on my Mac and its duplicated most of the music, so its not easy to get rid off

thanks for any help that is posted

welcome to the lounge

first question - why not have both machines share a library instead, either on one of the machines (whichever has the most space) or an external hard drive

second - try this link...

good luck!

btw how's tiger looking? i noticed your sig and thought '10.4 isn't available yet' then i saw all the other stuff LOL!!

Thanks,

Tiger looks ok, im about a build behind at the moment, so I dont have both corners in 'blue'

Its looks and feels great

Now Sharing a libary isnt a bad Idea, but I get a few more music tracks off my Windows PC than I do on my Powerbook, my iPod connects to my Powerbook so I woud like all the music on there really.

Thanks for the link
