Hi everyone-
My problem I prefer to own the entire album that I purchase rather than some of the songs. You may see the problem I face in that an artist may use the same song in many albums. Is there any way to have only one copy on my hard drive recognized by all of the involved albums? Thanks for your help. |

No, that would require multiple album titles for one track which is not supported by iTunes or the tags used by media players to organize the tracks. Other than greatest hits albums I found if the artist has the same song on multiple albums they are different versions I would prefer to maintain, and I wouldn't own multiple greatest hits albums for the same artist.
