I have a MP4 movie file I am trying to get to play in Itunes, but I am having no luck. I can hear audio just fine, but I just have a black screen. The file plays fine in VLC player though. What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

VLC will play just about any video file available. ITunes and QuickTime have their limitations and will only play videos that will meet their requirements. Use a third party video conversion program to convert the video to an iTunes or iPod compatible file. Most video conversion software has presets that will accomplish this for you. HandBrake is a pretty good free open sorce program for both Macs and Windows with some pretty good Apple presets.
