Newly purchased music not showing in iTunes 11 library

My daughter purchased a new album from the iTunes store in iTunes 11. It shows up in her purchased playlist, you can play the music, and I can find the files in Windows Explorer, but the songs don't show up in the library views (songs, artists, albums).

Any thoughts on how to fix this issue? Is it a common issue with iTunes 11?

I emailed Apple customer care and they are suggesting we re-download the album, although I don't see how that would fix the issue.

Perhaps this is a Compilation album? If so, it might be sorted in your library by the Album Artist, which may be "Various" -- look in the V's.

It is a compilation. There was nothing in the Album Artist field so that wasn't it, but for whatever reason, it's now showing up. I was certain that it wasn't in the library because I couldn't see any of the songs when sorting by song title, and I can now.

Oh well, I guess it was iTunes phantoms or some kind of pbkac error.
