I have downloading soooo many apps like the rest of us! I recently i decided to clear it up, the ones I don't use any more. I removed them from my NAS Drive where my iTunes folder is stored rather than my Music folder on Windows 7. I deleted them as but still turns up on iTunes and wanted to update them and reinstall them again. Also there are some duplicated yes updated version i don't know which one is right and which one isn't right by looking at the dates recently compare to other dates/.
How can I do this correctly I am getting the new iMac 27" soon and i want to clear it up before it get it so I can make space on my NAS for the windows documents etc.. stuff I want to use on my iMac once it is released later this year, hopefully. |

Sync All IOS devices to ensure any purchases are sync'd.
Open iTunes, find apps, delete, send to recycle bin (or whatever Mac calls it) and then sync all IOS devices and answer NO to sync purchases to iTunes. The apps will be removed from iTunes and all devices. As always with iTunes, deleting from the Operating System (using Windows Explorer/Finder) is a bad idea and always makes for trouble. Use iTunes to manage files and you will be fine.
