I had 180 songs mysteriously disappear from my itunes media folder on my external hard drive. I have 3500 songs all together. I don't want to have to find the CDs for the songs I have lost. Around 160 of them weren't gotten from iTunes
If I sign up for iTunes Match will I be able to re-download the songs? They are still listed in my library and I believe all of the songs are available from iTunes. Thank you |

I doubt it.
I think iTunes Match will match songs that are actually in your iTunes system. If it matched any song in your library that you don't have access to, the anyone could access the latest song without paying for it. You should figure out what happened to the songs. Either you accidentally deleted the songs, or moved/renamed them with Windows Explorer, or your drive is going bad.
