Possible to use single Ipod synced with 2 PCs?

I have my home computer (windows 7) with all my music in c:\music and Itunes loaded on it and several playlists. I have an Ipod synced to that PC.

Now, at work I have another computer (windows 7) and I have copied my music library to c:\music on it as well. the directory is an exact duplicate from the one at my home.

The first thing I would like to do is have my playlists from home on my work machine. I was going to use the info in this thread .. 263402-howto-copying-playlists-ipod-back-itunes-without-copying-music-files.html (sorry i cant post links as a new member) .. to move the playlists from my Ipod to my work computer.

Next what I would like to be able to do is to have my Ipod synced at both computers. I want to modify the playlists while Im at work, sync to my Ipod, then get the changes to my house. I also want to be able to make changes to my playlists at my house, sync to Ipod and get the changes to my work computer. Is this possible or am I limited to only changing the playlists at 1 location and having the Ipod synced to 1 computer?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You should be able to copy the library to the second computer and sync to it. Check the recent Migrate Library to New Computer threads for details.

The problem is there is no direct way to copy the playlists from the iPod to iTunes.
You might be able to buy some software like CopyPod to copy playlists from the iPod to iTunes.
You will need to have 2 copies of the software, one on each side. Or you will have to copy the entire library each time you edit it.

Typically you only sync to 1 library, and you can use additional libraries manually, but you lose the unpaid content when you sync to the 1 library again.
