Hi all - I am trying to tag my Audible books in iTunes appropriately and I am hoping for some advice in a few areas:
1. I noticed an inconsistency in that the book description sometimes shows up on the info tab in comments and sometimes on the video tab in description. Where should it really be and why would it be showing up in each? 2. My average audiobook has multiple parts - separate files. I have been using the disc number field for the part in order to keep them sequenced properly. Is this the best way of handling it? 3. I currently do not see a use for the track #. Is this correct or am I missing something? 4. - Name = book name, part - Artist = author - Album Artist = author - Album = book Is this correct / the best way? 5. How can I tag for the series a book is part of and the book #? I know I can add this ti the comments or description field ... maybe whichever I do not use for the actual book description but I am wondering if there is a better way. It would be nice if the books sequenced by series and # within series. I may be asking too much but is this possible now? Thanks much. |

1. It can be in either place, it is up to you. I move it to the Info tab personally
2. You can do it either way. I typically also use Disc Number, and not Track Number. 3. Sometimes I use Track for book number. 4. Yep. Pretty much how I do it. 5. I have been altering the Album to have Series & Book Name.

It can work both ways or any number of other ways that work for you. I have used disk number for book series and track number for the different parts of a book. I then use the "Sort Album" field for the book series name which keeps them organize with out being visible.
