iTunes crashes whenever I click on movie library

Hello,

I have searched the forum and haven't found a similar thread so am staring one.

I recently added a movie to my iTunes movie library. Since doing so, whenever I click on the iTunes movie library (upper left hand corner of iTunes) iTunes shuts down. I can reopen iTunes and use it for everything I normally can (listening to music, watching TV shows, etc) but whenever I click on the "Movie" library it shuts down. I will attempt to include a screen shot of the error message below.

I am running an iMac. OS 10.6.8. iTunes 10.6

I attempted to uninstall iTunes and do a fresh install (which I believe I successfully did) but the problem persists. I did not change in any way my data files associated with iTunes during this install (i.e. I did not move my music, videos, movies, etc. just left them alone during this re-install).

The error message I receive is: "iTunes quit unexpectedly. Click to reopen the application again. Click report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple".

Any help would be appreciated

No solution ... just wanted to say I've got the same problem but with TV Shows.

Hi

I get the same message on my macbook pro as Ak man. I convert my movies using handbrake. I went in to library and deleted the most recent movie but iTunes still crashes every time I click on movies.

Any ideas how to uninstall iTunes and start from scratch?
