Unfortunately I can't. I experienced those issues around 2006 on much older versions of iTunes running on a Dell notebook that is now about as useful as a handful of used TP. I don't remember what I did and I tried looking for a solution but it seems to have been buried over the last 6 years. I just remember encountering the problem for both audio and video playback, closing iTunes, opening up the registry, deleting something from a single line, starting iTunes up again, and everything would work. I had to do that for a month or so until Apple fixed the problem with a subsequent iTunes update.
I wish I could be of more help but that was so long ago and I can't find the fixes I used (they probably also wouldn't apply to the current version of iTunes as I was using iTunes 6).

Ah well, my search continues. I've been hoping an itunes update would fix this since the 9.x days. I've tried manually deleting all the obvious registry keys during an uninstall sometime before and I'm not confident enough to mess around with it any more than that. Thanks anyway! |

I am also running Windows 7, and was having the same video issues. Turning off Wi-fi syncing for my iPod fixed the problem.
This forum won't let me post an URL, but search for "iTunes Choppy HD Video Fix for Windows - Tommy Twisters" on Google (including quotation marks) and it's the first to come up. Good luck getting Apple to admit that this is the problem, but hopefully they'll fix this bug in a future release. Cheers |

The problem is because of the Audio Settings in Windows 7
Follow these simple steps to resolve it. 1. Right click on volume icon. 2. Click Playback Devices 3. Right Click on The Speakers and Select Properties. 4. Navigate to "Enhancements". 5. Click on "Disable All Enhancements". 6. Click on Advanced and change the sample rates. This will do the "Fix" |
