I recently downloaded an album from a bands wedsite, the album appeared in my downloads folder and i tried to drag it into itunes. Normally, it would copy and add the files into itunes, but now it will not allow me to do so. I checked my preferences and it still says i am able to copy files to itunes by dragging the file into the program, but it does not recognize the files.
I have tried deleting itunes and then reinstalling it, but i still have the same problem. I would much like to listen to the album i paid for. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated! |

1. Can you play the song in WMP (Windows media Player or whatever it is called now)?
2. Can you play the song in iTunes? If 1 is Yes and 2 is No, then the song has DRM on it that is not compatible with iTunes. If 1 is Yes and 2 is Yes, then try File->Add Song to library in iTunes.
