weird cannot fix problem

hey Y'all, Thanx in advance for reading my post and trying to help.

I have tons of tracks on itunes that are named "unknown artist, 1 song". I cannot for the life of me rename these. When I click on the icon, the proper name of the artist and track are there while the tune is set to play.

I have tried the "highlight the track, right click, get info to try to rename but the information on the artist is already in the info box. ive tried deleting in and retyoing it but the only way I can see what song it is is by playing it, I cannot see what song it is just by the icon.

the reason why I dont think anyone can help is becasue ive read tens of posts on trying to rename a file but no one seems to have this same problem. I swear its just me. if I didnt have bad luck, I wouldnt have any luck at all.

can anyone hook a brother up?

Someone "Twittered" the same question. If it wasn't you, maybe you could contact that person to see if they got a resolution.
