Merging tracks in iTunes

I want to be able to "merge' tracks into one combined track. For example, if I have a classical CD which has 3 symphonies on it, each containing 4 movements. I want to combine the 4 tracks for each track into a single track. Similarly, I would like to have albums like the Moody Blues "Days of the Future Passed" as a single track, and then also have individual tracks saved separately. The goal is to have playlists that will shuffle songs, but will still keep tracks together and treat them as if they were a single "song".

I did look through the FAQ and first few pages of the 500+ of this forum and didn't see anything on this, so my apologies if this is a repeated question.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, with iTunes you can only conjoin tracks as they are ripped from a CD -- you can't do it after they are ripped. Perhaps there is a 3rd party utility that let's you join tracks that are already ripped, but I don't know of one. When you pop in a CD, select Advanced/Join CD Tracks before you rip. Note that you can only join adjacent tracks.

YAMB is a decent product for that. I used it for audio books.

Have you backed up your iTunes Library this week? If not, you are risking losing your music and playlists....
