iTunes won't let me sync touch apps

On iTunes, it recognizes my touch. Let my sync everything except apps. I can't seem to check/uncheck the boxes.

My touch is 1st gen, 2.1 & JB'n.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Check the iPod touch's Settings/General/Restrictions, on the iPod not iTunes, has not been enabled for installing apps.
