I have jsut purchased about 6 songs from iTunes and they have downloaded on my hard drive. I made a new playlist with the new songs, and wanted to transfer it to the iPod so I can listen to it. When I try to drag it to the iPod, it does not allow me.
I have other playlists with MP3 files which transfer fine, but not the one with the newly downloaded files. Am I missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the first generation 10GB iPod and connecting to a Windows XP Professional machine with the latest iTunes installed. Thanks |

Check your software in settings --> about. Make sure you have software 1.3 for the first generation iPod. If not you need to run over to apple's website and download the 1.3 iPod software and update your iPod to use the AAC files from the iTMS.
Good Luck, Stuart

check your operating steps see if they wrong :
1.Connect your device to the computer. If it is synced with another iTunes library, the following dialog may appear: 2.Click the Transfer Purchases button. 3.After connecting your device to the computer and its icon appears in iTunes, you can choose Transfer Purchases from "Your device name" from the File menu. Or, you can right-click (Windows or Mac) or Control-click (Mac only) your device in the iTunes Source list, then chooseTransfer Purchases from the shortcut menu that appears. if still nor work , google for acticle "How to transfer purchases from iPod to computer" Last edited by gigiwill; 06-12-2012 at 11:30 PM. |
