Help with Converting file type

OK I have purchased music some several online music sources. But I seem to be getting a libary with 3 different formats. Has anybody found a program that will mass convert songs to MP3?

The problem is I currently have a Dell DJ, I was going to return it but my wife wants it now. I am going to be getting a 40 gig iPod. So I need a format that both devices will work with. MP3 seems to be the only one both can read.

Thanks for the help!

Any format you download from a music store is going to have DRM protection, so legally the only way you can do it is to make an analog copy (ie. burn a CD) from the WMA/AAC and rerip it into MP3. There might be other *ahem* less business-friendly methods though.

This whole WMA vs. AAC thing is really getting to be a PITA, one of them is going to lose (most likely AAC unfortunately) and a lot of people are going to be out in the cold, stuck with a dead format, as a result.

Talking The Solution

I use Audio Conversion Wizard. When I use AllofMP3 to download music, I always am able to choose my delivery enocding format, which is LAME encoded MP3s. However, some MP3 sites on the Net offer new CDs in OGG, WMA or AAC format, and I use MP3 exclusively. Audio Conversion Wizard allows for Single or Batch conversions, and allows you to choose the Input Format and the Output format with complete control.

Thanks!
